Bondex Extra

Water based, translucent, alkyd modified wood protection. Use on all outdoor wooden substrates and species. Give the wood a decorative and weather resistant surface. Easy to apply. Provides protection against mold and fungi for the surface film. Not recommended for horizontal surfaces.

Product type

Alkyd modified; water-based wood stain. Enhances the structure of the wood. Protects against the sun’s UV-rays and prevents surface attacks from blue stain and mold.

Where to use

Use on exterior wooden surfaces. Can be used on all wood species - also exotic wood. Not suitable for use on horizontal surfaces.

Drying time

-Touch dry: app. 1 hour

-Recoatable: app. 1-4 hours

-Through hardening: app 3-4 weeks (measured at 23°C and normal humidity 50%)

Drying time varies according to temperature, ambient humidity, substrate, quantity applied, and quality of products used for cleaning, and ventilation.

Shelf Life

3 years in unopened container. Limited shelf life after opening.

Storage

Store and transport frost free in tightly closed container. Store in a dry and cool area away from direct sunlight.
